CAMPANIA. Neapolis. 350-325 BC. Didrachm (Silver, 20 mm, 6.32 g, 9 h). Head of nymph to right; behind, Ε. Rev. [ΝΕΟΠΟΛΙΤΗΣ] Man-headed bull to right with Nike above; below, Ν. HN III 565. SNG ANS 303. Nicely toned. Old abrasions on the obverse and corroded surfaces on the reverse, otherwise, very fine.

From the collection of W.F. Stoecklin acquired in the early 1950s from that of Dr. Naegeli of Zürich (died in 1951) .
