EASTERN EUROPE, Eravisci. Late 1st century BC, or later. Denarius (Silver, 16 mm, 3.19 g, 2 h), imitating a Republican denarius of Cn. Lentulus of 76-75 BC. Head of Jupiter to right. Rev. RAVIS (S retrograde) Globe between rudder and thunderbolt; in field to right, X. CCCBM I 268 (same reverse die). Davis Class B, Group II. Freeman 2/C, pl. 29, 6 (this coin illustrated). Lanz -. Light iridescent toning. Faint scratch in obverse field, otherwise, good very fine.
