KINGS OF MACEDON. Philip III Arrhidaios, 323-317 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 26 mm, 17.15 g, 11 h), Babylon. Head of youthful Herakles in lion's skin headdress to right. Rev. BAΣIΛEΩΣ ΦΙΛΙΠΠΟΥ Zeus seated to left on throne, holding eagle on his outstretched right hand and long scepter in his left; to left, wheel above N; below throne, monogram. Price P200. A well centered, clear tetradrachm with lovely underlying golden luster and a splendid high relief obverse. Good very fine.
