CARTHAGE. Circa 270-264 BC. Trihemistater (Gold, 23 mm, 12.52 g, 1 h). Head of Tanit to left, wearing wreath of grain ears, triple pendant earring, and necklace with eighteen hanging pendants. Rev. Rev. Unbridled horse standing right on single exergual line, head turned to look back. Jenkins & Lewis Group IX, 388 (same dies). MAA 26. SNG Copenhagen 181. Lovely and well-struck. Good extremely fine.

Sold on behalf of a Swiss bank, originally from a collection acquired in the 1990s.
