KINGS OF MACEDON. Philip V, 221-179 BC. (Bronze, 26 mm, 7.80 g, 9 h), uncertain mint in Macedon, after 183 BC. Bearded head of Herakles right, wearing lion's skin. Rev. BAΣIΛΕΩΣ - ΦIΛIΠΠOY Harpa; above, Ρ monogram all within oak wreath with ties at the left. Mamroth 25dh SNG Copenhagen 1263. A very attractive example, struck on an oval flan and with a dark green patina. Extremely fine.
