CELTIC, Central Europe. Burgenland and Western Slovakia. Late second century BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 22 mm, 12.14 g, 6 h). Stylized, beardless male head to left, wearing a single-row pearl diadem and with his hair in the form of a triple-row laurel wreath. Rev. Stylized rider on horseback to left. OTA 468. Rauch 92, 2013, 1005 (same obverse die). A rare type of unusually dramatic style. Very fine.
