KINGS OF MACEDON. Philip II, 359-336 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 23 mm, 14.50 g, 2 h), Amphipolis, 348/7-343/2. Laureate head of Zeus to right. Rev. ΦΙΛΙΠ - ΠΟΥ Young jockey, holding palm branch and reins, riding horse to right; below horse to right, rose. Le Rider 214 a (this coin, cited from a cast in the ANS of a coin in the Petsalis collection ). Boldly struck and toned. Good very fine.
