LUCANIA. Thourioi. Circa 350-300 BC. Distater (Silver, 23 mm, 15.99 g, 3 h). Head of Athena to right, wearing helmet adorned with Skylla. Rev. ΘΟΥΡΙΩΝ Bull butting to right; above, Ξ; in exergue, two fish. HN III 1811. Noe H 20. SNG ANS 973. With a noble and powerful head of Athena. Nicely toned. Struck on a narrow flan, otherwise. About extremely fine.
