Medal (Silver, 57 mm, 26.89 g, 12 h), on the capture of ‘s Hertogenbosch, Wesel and the fortresses protecting the Veluwe by the prince’s army, by an unknown engraver after J. van Looff, 1629. ORDD.CONFŒD.BELG.AVSP:PR.FRED.HENR.FORT. / SILVA_DVCIS / CAPTA (=‘s Hertogenbosch taken under the auspices of the United Provinces and by the bravery of Prince Frederik Hendrik) Prince Frederik, wearing full armor, on horse prancing to left before a view of ‘s Hertogenbosch with soldiers marching in the foreground. Rev. +VESALIA EXPVGNATA. / VELAVIA LIBERATA. / OPORTVNE VINDICAS CAVSA TVA DOMINE.
